Academy & Courses

What is ValorEdge Academy?

ValorEdge Academy is a members-only online trading and investing school. It combines a structured, video-based curriculum with quizzes, mentorship, certification, and a Practice Desk simulator — designed to build disciplined, repeatable process rather than sell signals or hype. Browse the courses ›

Who is ValorEdge Academy for?

Serious learners — from committed beginners to active traders and busy professionals — who want a disciplined, process-first education rather than signals or hype. The standard is the same whether you trade part-time or intend to manage real size. About ValorEdge ›

What is the Market Ready course?

Market Ready: A Beginner's Guide to Investing and Trading is the flagship course — a 20-module path through investing, trading, technical and fundamental analysis, risk management, and building wealth, with no prior experience assumed. Each module has video lessons and a quiz. See the syllabus ›

Do I need any experience to start?

No. Market Ready assumes no prior experience and begins with market foundations — the vocabulary and structure you need before anything else. More advanced tracks build on that base, so you progress in a deliberate order instead of jumping into the deep end. How the Method works ›

How does certification work?

Each track ends with a quiz that reinforces the material. Reaching the completion standard issues a verifiable certificate of completion — while every lesson stays open for review, because revisiting fundamentals is part of the discipline, not a penalty.

Is the ValorEdge certificate accredited?

No. ValorEdge issues a certificate of completion, not an accredited qualification. It confirms you finished the course and met the quiz standard. It is not a degree, carries no academic credit, and is not a professional licence or a qualification to work in the financial industry. It is for people trading their own accounts.

What makes ValorEdge different from other trading educators?

Mostly three things it refuses to do. There are no trade signals, no performance or income claims, and no screenshots of profitable accounts anywhere on the site. It also names its founder and states plainly that he holds no finance licence yet. About the founder ›

Is the Academy available now?

Yes. The Academy is open and enrolling now. Membership includes Market Ready — our 20-module beginner course — plus the Practice Desk, mentorship, and certification, with new courses and material added on an ongoing basis. Preview the Academy ›

Pricing & Billing

What does ValorEdge Academy cost?

The Market Ready course is $297, one-time — including every future update to it, plus free access to the Practice Desk, the simulation and feedback system, daily group messages, weekly meetups, and monthly newsletters. There is no subscription. What's included ›

Is it a subscription or a one-time payment?

One-time. You pay once for Market Ready and keep lifetime access to the course and its future updates — no recurring billing. Future courses may be offered separately, and members receive a standing discount on new releases.

What payment methods do you accept?

Checkout is handled through Square's secure hosted payment page, which accepts major credit and debit cards. Card details are entered on Square's PCI-compliant page, not stored on ValorEdge servers.

How does this compare to a cheap online trading course?

Low-cost courses are usually a video library you watch once. Market Ready is sequenced so each module builds on the last, closes every module with a quiz, and includes the Practice Desk simulator, weekly live sessions and all future updates. The difference is structure and practice, not hours of footage. What's included ›

Is any part of ValorEdge free?

Yes. The Practice Desk simulator can be explored without paying, and the Daily Read market brief, the FAQ and the newsletter are free. The Market Ready course and Academy membership are paid, one-time, with no subscription. Open the Practice Desk ›

Is there a refund policy?

Enrollment is non-refundable once access to the course material has been issued, because digital content is delivered immediately on purchase. This is stated before you pay. If you have any question about what is included, contact us before enrolling and we will answer it. Read the Terms ›

Simulator & Tools

What is the Practice Desk simulator?

The Practice Desk is a paper-trading simulator where you can trade stocks and crypto with live market prices and no real money at risk. It lets you rehearse the decisions taught in the Academy — entries, sizing, and exits — until the process holds under pressure. Open the Practice Desk ›

Is the simulator free to try?

You can explore the Practice Desk to see how it works, and full simulator access is included with Academy membership. It uses live prices and our own charting engine, with no advertising or third-party trackers. Try it now ›

How long should I paper trade before using real money?

Longer than most people want to. Published guidance from trading educators ranges from roughly 20 to 30 journaled trades at the low end to around 100 trades across trending, choppy and news-driven conditions — for most people, several months of consistent practice. There is no time limit on the Practice Desk. Start practising ›

Do I need a brokerage account to use the simulator?

No. Most paper-trading platforms are run by brokers and require you to open a brokerage account first. The Practice Desk runs in your browser with no broker involved, no application and no deposit.

Can you make money paper trading?

No. It uses virtual money, so nothing you gain is real and nothing can be withdrawn. The value is learning the mechanics and testing a process at no cost. Treating a simulated profit as evidence of skill is an expensive mistake.

Where do the prices and charts come from?

The simulator uses live market data for stocks and crypto, cached for speed, with our own charting engine rather than an embedded third-party widget. It is built for practice and education, so it favors clarity and discipline over noise.

Method & Framework

What is the ValorEdge Method?

The ValorEdge Method is a four-part arc every course follows — Framework, Risk, Mentorship, and Mastery. It is the architecture behind consistent decisions under pressure: you build a written, repeatable process, size risk deliberately, get feedback, and prove it before you scale. Read the Method ›

How is this different from signal groups or courses selling hype?

ValorEdge teaches a risk-first process, not trade calls. There are no signals, no promises of returns, and no performance claims. The goal is to make discipline a habit — the way professionals actually operate — so your decisions hold up without someone telling you what to buy. Our approach ›

How long does it take to complete Market Ready?

Market Ready is self-paced across 20 modules of video lessons and quizzes, so your timeline is your own. Lessons stay open for life, so you can move quickly and then return to review any topic as often as you need. See the modules ›

Account & Access

How do I create an account and sign in?

You can register with an email and password, or use “Continue with Google” for one-click sign-in. Once you enroll, your courses, progress, certificates, and Practice Desk are all available from your Academy dashboard. Go to the Academy ›

Do I keep access to the material?

Yes. Market Ready access is lifetime, including future updates to the course. Every lesson stays open for review because revisiting fundamentals is part of the discipline, not a limitation.

How is my data and privacy handled?

ValorEdge uses only first-party, essential cookies for sign-in and the Practice Desk, with no advertising or third-party trackers. Full details, including your rights under CCPA and, for visitors in the EEA and UK, under GDPR, are in our Privacy Policy. Privacy Policy ›

Consulting & Future Services

Is ValorEdge financial advice?

No. ValorEdge Academy is education and mentorship only. Nothing on the site is investment, tax, legal, or financial advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Personalized advice is planned for the future through ValorEdge Consulting. Read the disclosures ›

What are Consulting and Capital?

They are the next phases of the ValorEdge roadmap. Consulting is a planned independent financial-advisory practice with no confirmed date. Capital is a long-range private-equity vision. Both are described at a high level today and are not offers of advice or securities. About Consulting ›

Does passing the Series 65 allow someone to give investment advice?

No, not on its own. The Series 65 is an examination, not a licence. Passing it is a prerequisite, but an individual must still file registration documents with their state and be approved before providing advice for a fee, and must be registered to a registered investment advisory firm. Consulting status ›

How can I check whether a financial adviser is registered?

Use the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure site at adviserinfo.sec.gov or FINRA BrokerCheck at brokercheck.finra.org. Both are free and show registration status, exam history and any disciplinary record. ValorEdge does not appear on either, because ValorEdge does not give advice.

Can I get personalized advice now?

Not yet. ValorEdge Consulting is a planned future service and is not currently available; today ValorEdge provides education and mentorship only. Advisory work will begin once the appropriate registration and compliance structure is complete. Consulting details ›
